Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Pablo De Geno (ranked 78 p4p, 1093 weight class) and Great Tiger (ranked 3 p4p, 62 weight class). De Geno kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is DE MEXICO SONG. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pablo De Geno!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 36 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Great Tiger!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paul Aken and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tiger showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from De Geno.
Tiger slips under a jab from De Geno.
De Geno misses with a two punch combination.
Tiger scores with a leg kick.
De Geno throws a hook but Tiger blocks it.
De Geno throws a jab when Tiger was well out of range.
De Geno is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tiger.
Tiger moves away from the strike by De Geno.
Good work by De Geno as he checks the leg kick.
De Geno looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Tiger swings for the body but De Geno moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
De Geno checks the leg kick nicely there.
Tiger misses with a body kick.
De Geno throws a lazy right hand but Tiger sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Tiger cracks De Geno with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Tiger paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Tiger lands a nice looking body shot.
Tiger walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

It looks like Great Tiger has been cut.
De Geno tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Tiger scores with a nice strike.
De Geno lands a jab to Tiger's midsection.
Tiger's coach down at Punch Out Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Tiger's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Tiger turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
De Geno stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Tiger.
Tiger gets cracked with a nice right hand there by De Geno.
De Geno blocks a head kick by Tiger.
Pablo De Geno is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
De Geno throws a right and a left that Tiger avoids nicely.
Tiger closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
This has been an exciting period of action!
De Geno slips under a jab.
Great Tiger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
De Geno circles away from the clinch attempt.
De Geno looks to throw the jab but Tiger is out of range.
And Tiger tries to counter it with a takedown but De Geno pushes his down on his head and steps out.

De Geno throws a poor cross that misses
and Tiger counters with a head kick. That will keep De Geno thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

and De Geno cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Tiger throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
De Geno connects with a jab.
Tiger throws a hook to the side of De Geno's head but De Geno sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and De Geno counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Tiger fails with a takedown attempt.
Tiger throws a shot from downtown. De Geno moves away and avoids it.
Tiger connects with a high kick.

Tiger looks for the body kick but De Geno saw that one coming.
De Geno moves out of range of the body kick from Tiger.
De Geno was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
De Geno is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
De Geno loads up on a big right hand but Tiger slips the punch.
De Geno uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Tiger.
Tiger tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
The fighters circling - Tiger throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Tiger avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
De Geno buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
De Geno takes a swing at Tiger's ribcage but misses.
Tiger throws a body kick that misses.
De Geno is looking to counter punch.
De Geno throws a shot from downtown. Tiger moves away and avoids it.
Tiger throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Tiger takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
De Geno throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Tiger sees it coming and avoids it easily.
De Geno throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Tiger lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
De Geno throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
De Geno tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Tiger throws a half hearted mid kick.
De Geno throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Tiger sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Tiger shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Tiger is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
De Geno weaves into range and cracks Tiger right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Tiger goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! De Geno is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Pablo De Geno!

Pablo De Geno seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
