Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johannes Tulikoura (ranked 1147 p4p, 575 weight class) and Manco Capac (ranked 157 p4p, 79 weight class). Capac has chosen Iggy Pop - The Passenger as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 35 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Johannes Tulikoura!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Manco Capac!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tulikoura throws a body shot but no joy.
Tulikoura tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Capac drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Tulikoura defends it well.
Tulikoura keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Tulikoura looks to score with a jab to the body but Capac is just out of range.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Capac has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

A nice side step and Capac releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
The fighters circle momentarily. Capac darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Capac might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Capac is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Tulikoura sees it coming and defends easily.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Tulikoura has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Capac is working away from the top position though.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Manco Capac dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Capac cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Capac has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Capac is nestled in close to Tulikoura, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Capac has an Americana. Tulikoura didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Capac is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Capac hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Manco Capac!
Our winner, Manco Capac, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
