Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Pinsky (ranked 24586 p4p, 5821 weight class) and My Car (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Paul Pinsky! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, My Car! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Saam Ante and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pinsky shoots for a takedown but Car saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Car throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Pinsky throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. Pinsky shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Car but Car pushes him off and we're back to square one. Car wants to clinch. Pinsky tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Car manages to circle out of the way. Pinsky shoots in and drives through. Car sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paul Pinsky. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pinsky fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Pinsky rushes Car and presses him up against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pinsky lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Pinsky tries to pull guard but Car forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Pinsky breaks from the clinch.

Pinsky shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Car defends it nicely. Pinsky keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Pinsky shoots and misses and Car counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Pinsky missing with punches from the bottom.
Pinsky has hold of Car's hands but Car slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Car has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Car is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Car wants to control but Pinsky is keeping him busy. Pinsky is looking to reverse the position. Car thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Car landing a few strikes. Car tries to move into full mount but can't pass Pinsky's legs. Car is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Pinsky knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Pinsky is looking to get back to his feet here but Car is keeping cool and he's managed to take Pinsky's back. Car looking for the choke from the back. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Pinsky breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Pinsky shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Car pinned against the cage. Car gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Car tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Car throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pinsky's waist but Pinsky gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Car off to one side. Pinsky changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Car tries to avoid it but Pinsky manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Car to the ground. Car escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Car is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Pinsky shoots in for a takedown but Car shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
My Car dominated that round. The cut man is working on Paul Pinsky's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Pinsky throws a combination. Car tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Car drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. The fighters are working up against the cage. Pinsky manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Pinsky has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Car is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Car's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Pinsky plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Pinsky tries to clinch up. Pinsky fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Car is looking to land body kicks. Car closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pinsky circles away. Pinsky fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Car, pushing him back against the cage. Pinsky has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Car uses from the top position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Pinsky throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Pinsky moves in looking to clinch but Car pushes him off. Car changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Car closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Car lands in his opponent's guard. Pinsky looking for a sweep. Not yet Pinsky, not yet. Pinsky will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round! Pinsky dives in and grabs Car's left leg, looking for a takedown. Car pushes down on Pinsky's head and hops out. Car lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Pinsky shoots in for a takedown but Car shows good takedown defense. Car misses with a low kick as Pinsky jumps back. Car rushes Pinsky and presses him up against the cage. Pinsky looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Car pulls Pinsky into guard.

Car has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Pinsky drops back, looking for a kneebar! Car looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Car looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Car!
My Car has got the better of the ground game so far. Both fighters are breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pinsky takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pinsky seems comfortable defending it but Car has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Pinsky is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Pinsky is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Car couldn't care less - he's delighted!
