Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mantak Garuda (ranked 240 p4p, 295 weight class) and Adils Hallbjornsson (ranked 41 p4p, 50 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Garuda might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Djiin Djiin. Hallbjornsson has chosen Herr Mannelig as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garuda fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hallbjornsson manages to avoid it.
Hallbjornsson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

That was a close round but I would say that Mantak Garuda will probably get the nod.

Garuda throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Garuda feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Hallbjornsson sprawling to the canvas! Hallbjornsson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Garuda finish him?!
