Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Beau Abner (ranked 339 p4p, 325 weight class) and Kimbo Slaissi (ranked 52 p4p, 50 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Beau Abner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kimbo Slaissi!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Percy O'Donnell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abner misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Slaissi.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Slaissi! But no joy.
Abner has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Team Grunt in the buildup to the fight.
A chopping leg kick lands by Abner.
Slaissi throws a head kick that misses.
Abner looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Abner throws a front kick aimed at Slaissi's knee but Slaissi avoids it well.
Abner cracks Slaissi with a right hand to the side of the head.

It looks like Kimbo Slaissi has been cut.
Abner thuds a left hand into Slaissi's body.
Abner tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Slaissi was well out of range. Poor timing from Abner.
Abner ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Slaissi moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A looping hook to the body misses from Abner. Slaissi does a little dance to reset his feet.
A slapping leg kick lands for Abner.
Abner throws a jab but it's blocked by Slaissi.
The crowd cheers as Abner lands an impressive looking overhand right. Slaissi doesn't seem phased though.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Abner stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Abner throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Slaissi takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Abner throws a hook but Slaissi blocks it.
Abner with a nice calf kick.
Abner uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Slaissi has time to react.
Slaissi throws a sloppy head kick and Abner moves out of range easily.
Good standup being displayed there by Slaissi as he connects with a hook.

It looks like Beau Abner has been cut.
Slaissi tries to clinch up.
Abner connects with a looping right hand.

That has opened up Kimbo Slaissi's cut even more.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Slaissi keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Abner.
Abner misses with a low kick.
Abner lands with a good body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Abner scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Slaissi tries to close the distance and clinch up but Abner swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Slaissi has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Abner.
