Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brownie Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brian Dean!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dean cracks Anderson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Dean throws a shot from downtown. Anderson moves away and avoids it.
Dean digs a good hook to Anderson's body.
Anderson avoids the body shot from Dean.
A little feinted left hand from Anderson on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Dean misses with a hook
enabling Anderson to counter with a crisp jab.
A swing and a miss from Dean.
Dean throws a lazy uppercut
letting Anderson counter with a right hand.

Anderson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Anderson tries to move to mount but Dean blocks the move with his legs.
A lull in the action here as Anderson stalls from top position.

Anderson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dean's waist but Dean gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Anderson off to one side.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Dean scores with the left hand. Anderson knows he should have avoided that one.
Dean bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Anderson's head.

Dean lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Anderson dives in for a single leg takedown but Dean sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Dean breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Anderson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Dean comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Anderson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dean's waist but Dean gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Anderson off to one side.

Dean is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Anderson.

Anderson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Dean manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Dean is looking to stand up but Anderson isn't so interested in that idea.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Anderson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dean swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Anderson won't allow Dean to get back to his feet.
Dean wants to get back to his feet but Anderson passes into half guard.

Dean kicks Anderson off and gets back to his feet.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Brian Dean dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Anderson dives in and grabs Dean's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dean pushes down on Anderson's head and hops out.

Anderson shoots in and drives through. Dean sprawls well.

Dean throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Anderson on the side of the head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Anderson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dean avoids it really well and circles away.
Oh Anderson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Dean ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Anderson moves away.

and Anderson counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Dean lands a big uppercut and Anderson crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Anderson looks OK. Dean waves Anderson back to his feet!

Anderson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dean swivels and escapes.
Dean misses the jab.
Anderson walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Dean swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
