Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 21 - 1, fighting out of New York, Mikey Day!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Lazar Petrovic!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Columbo Gatti and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Day stuffs the takedown.
Petrovic shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Day counters with a straight right hand.
Day dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Day closes the distance and clinches.
Day cracks Petrovic with a nice body shot.
A right handed body shot lands from Day.
Day gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Day frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The referee warns Petrovic that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Day takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Day has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Petrovic seems to have recovered his senses.

Day postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Petrovic badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Day around the waist but Day pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Day is the winner by TKO! Day jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
