And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bobby Carthew!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Metharom lands a nice looking kick to the body. Carthew takes a step back to recover.
Metharom misses with a head kick.
Carthew is looking to score with low kicks.
Metharom fires out a quick counter leg kick but Carthew just manages to avoid it.
Carthew throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Carthew takes a head kick and keeps coming.
It looks like Bobby Carthew has been cut.
Metharom circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Carthew to the canvas! Carthew doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Metharom keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
