The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kohler shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kurschmann sprawls well. Kurschmann wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kohler gets slowly back to his feet.
Kurschmann seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
