Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Richard Rockefeller (ranked 644 p4p, 2118 weight class) and Peter Kowalski (ranked 31 p4p, 96 weight class). Rockefeller 's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Trooper- Iron Maiden. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Peter Kowalski!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kowalski looks for a takedown but Rockefeller sprawls well.
A nice leg kick from Rockefeller , right into the meat of the thigh.
Rockefeller stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rockefeller wants it to stay on the feet.

Kowalski closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Rockefeller quickly recovers to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kowalski is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Rockefeller lands a really nice looking cross but Kowalski seems unphased.
Kowalski's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Rockefeller connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kowalski scrambles back to his feet.

Rockefeller connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kowalski. Kowalski circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Rockefeller keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Kowalski shoots in looking for a takedown. Rockefeller tries to sprawl out of it but Kowalski keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rockefeller manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Kowalski decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Rockefeller 's guard.

Rockefeller pushes Kowalski off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Rockefeller sneaks out the side door and pushes Kowalski away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Rockefeller throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kowalski sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Rockefeller displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kowalski throws out the jab.

It seemed like Kowalski was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Rockefeller swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Rockefeller throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kowalski on the side of the head.
Rockefeller tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Rockefeller is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kowalski can do to turn this around?

Rockefeller is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Kowalski cracks Rockefeller with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Rockefeller is rocked!
Kowalski postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Rockefeller badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Kowalski around the waist but Kowalski pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Kowalski is the winner by TKO! Kowalski jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Peter Kowalski!
Peter Kowalski is the new super heavyweight champion!
Peter Kowalski gave a mention to MKFC in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
