The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kozlov scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Danielsen's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kozlov connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Danielsen scrambles back to his feet.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Danielsen enables Kozlov to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Danielsen manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Kozlov scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Oh Danielsen is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kozlov postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Danielsen covers up, he's hurt! Kozlov keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Kozlov and the ref steps in to end the fight! Kozlov can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

Mirko Kozlov was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
