Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nasu Morikatsu!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fixit darts in and clinches Morikatsu up against the cage.
Fixit using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Come on Fixit - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Fixit connects with a knee to the head.

It looks like Nasu Morikatsu has been cut.
Fixit landing knees to the body.
Morikatsu tries to stall but Fixit uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Fixit lands an elbow inside.
Fixit lands a damaging elbow.
Fixit misses with a knee strike.
Fixit lands a damaging elbow.
Fixit utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Fixit lands a damaging elbow.
We've been hearing reports that Fixit has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fixit trying to stall but Morikatsu improves his position.
Fixit slows down the pace here.
Fixit tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Morikatsu avoids it.
Fixit struggles to land a body shot inside as Morikatsu controls his hands.
Fixit is looking to control Morikatsu's arms but Morikatsu gets an underhook and turns him. Now Fixit has his back to the cage.

Fixit lands a damaging elbow.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Fixit obliges.

Morikatsu takes an elbow to the temple.

Morikatsu has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Fixit uses from the top position.

Morikatsu had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fixit defends it easily.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Fixit is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Morikatsu has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Fixit is looking to defend but Morikatsu has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Fixit! Morikatsu pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Fixit taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Nasu Morikatsu!
Nasu Morikatsu was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
