Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Erran Morad (ranked 2715 p4p, 3870 weight class) and Mike Charles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Charles has chosen Renegades Of Funk - Rage Against The Machine as his entrance music. Erran Morad has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Erran Morad!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Charles!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Charles shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Erran Morad seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fighters circling - Morad throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Charles has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Morad finds it's way round the side to connect with Charles's head.
Charles takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
A telegraphed right hand from Morad misses the target.
Morad pivots, looking for a leg kick but Charles is out of range and Morad settles back down.
Charles looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Morad looks to land a right hand but Charles moved out of range.
We've been hearing reports that Morad has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Charles tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Charles is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Charles wants to work for an arm triangle but Morad is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Morad tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Charles is able to avoid easily.
Morad wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Charles goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Charles closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Charles lands in his opponent's guard.

Morad uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Charles has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Charles there as he acknowledges the shot.
Charles is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Morad tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Mike Charles is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Charles is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Morad defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Charles is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Morad is defending well though. Charles let's go of the attempt for now.

Morad rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Charles moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Morad buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Charles drops his hands momentarily and Morad takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Morad misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Charles uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Morad.
Charles throws a lazy right hand but Morad sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Morad stuffs the takedown attempt from Charles. Charles gets slowly back to his feet.
Charles fails to land the takedown.
Charles shoots in and drives through. Morad sprawls well.

Morad throws a leg kick which misses Charles's front leg but catches the back leg as Charles tries to avoid it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Morad throws a hook to the side of Charles's head but Charles sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Morad lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Charles is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Morad throws a nice inside leg kick.
Morad drops Charles with a huge uppercut! Charles drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Morad is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Erran Morad!
After the fight, Erran Morad was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
