Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tiamat Tenkula (ranked 2448 p4p, 2852 weight class) and Udonis Okoro (ranked 328 p4p, 371 weight class). Okoro has chosen The HU - Sad But True as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tiamat Tenkula!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Udonis Okoro!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Dmitry Maklakov and Aleksandr Martynov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okoro looks for a takedown but Tenkula sprawls well.
Okoro closes this distance looking for a takedown but Tenkula circles away.
Okoro tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Tenkula manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Tenkula throws a big counter combination but Okoro scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Okoro has taken the fight to the clinch.

Okoro pulls Tenkula into guard.

Tenkula stands and steps away. Okoro gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Tenkula throws out a leg kick but Okoro moves out of range and Tenkula only half commits.
Tenkula feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Okoros jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Okoro fails in his attempt to clinch.
Okoro shoots for a double leg takedown but Tenkula sprawls well. He's pushed Okoro's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
An attempted straight right counter from Tenkula misses the target.
Tiamat Tenkula has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Udonis Okoro.
Tenkula leaves Okoro with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

The fight stays on the outside here - Okoro looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Tenkula lands a left hand that snaps the head of Okoro backwards.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Okoro tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Tenkula just stands there and leans against the cage.
Tenkula lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Okoro drops down looking for an ankle pick but Tenkula pulls his leg out and moves away.

Tenkula moves into the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Okoro swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Tenkula swings wildly with an uppercut but Okoro uses good head movement to avoid it.
Okoro scores with a shot to the side of Tenkula's head.
Okoro wants a takedown.
Okoro goes for a takedown in the clinch but Tenkula prevents it.
Okoro jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tenkula walks away with a smile on his face. Okoro gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Tenkula takes a swing at Okoro's ribcage but misses.
Udonis Okoro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Okoro darts in trying to clinch
and Tenkula counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Okoro fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tenkula, pushing him back against the cage.
Tenkula has a couple of punches blocked by Okoro.
Okoro is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Tenkula breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Okoro misses with a takedown
and Tenkula makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Okoro clinches.
Tenkula misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Okoro goes for a takedown in the clinch but Tenkula prevents it.
Okoro stalling in the clinch but Tenkula improves position.
Okoro is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Tenkula's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Okoro darts in and clinches Tenkula up against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Okoro's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Okoro breaks the clinch.

Okoro rushes Tenkula and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Tiamat Tenkula dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Okoro looks to clinch
and Tenkula counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Tenkula jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Okoro moves into the clinch.
Okoro misses with a punch to the body.
Tenkula misses with a hook from the clinch.
Tenkula tries to break free but Okoro pushes him back against the cage.

Okoro manages to break the clinch.

Tenkula drops Okoro with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Okoro looks back up at him and smiles so Tenkula waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Okoro is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Okoro shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Tenkula counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
