Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Scott Armstrong (ranked 2571 p4p, 2043 weight class) and Arthur Pugsley (ranked 253 p4p, 211 weight class). The key to victory for Scott Armstrong has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Scott Armstrong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Arthur Pugsley! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Shimada and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Armstrong misses with a double jab
and Pugsley counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Armstrong is refusing to be controlled, as Pugsley sits in half guard. Armstrong definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Pugsley with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Armstrong on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Armstrong tries to get out of the position. Pugsley is thwarting Armstrong's attempts to control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pugsley tries to pass to full mount but Armstrong defends it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Armstrong is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Armstrong trying to control here.
Pugsley controlling the action here. Armstrong tries to get to full guard but Pugsley has control of the leg.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Pugsley uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Armstrong.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Armstrong throws a body punch but Pugsley moves out of range. Armstrong falls off balance throwing a combination
and Pugsley counters with a nice double leg into side control. Armstrong won't be happy with that. Pugsley is looking to take a break and control but Armstrong is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Pugsley working the ground and pound. Armstrong tries to buck Pugsley off but Pugsley is having none of it. Armstrong taking a bit of punishment here - Pugsley scoring with strikes. Pugsley is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Armstrong is trying to escape and Pugsley transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Armstrong is forced to tap! Nice work there by Pugsley! Very nice indeed!
