The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Araujo throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Lindholm escapes and throws Araujo's legs to the side, diving into side control!

That was a close round but I would say that Olli Lindholm will probably get the nod.

Lindholm lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Lindholm gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

It looks like Thiago Araujo has been cut.
A short right from Lindholm on the inside.
Araujo misses with a shot to the kidneys.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Lindholm creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Lindholm decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Araujo wants to clinch up but Lindholm keeps it at a distance.
Lindholm throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Araujo on the side of the head.
Araujo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lindholm is fending him off so far but Araujo persists. Nope, Lindholm circles away and we're back to standing.
Lindholm looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Olli Lindholm is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Araujo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lindholm sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Araujo somewhat.
Lindholm lands with a big right hook that stumbles Araujo - he's out on his feet here! Lindholm follows up with another monster hook that separates Araujo from consciousness! Araujo falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Lindholm stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
