Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Beer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steel's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Sugar Ray - Mean Machine. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Steel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Beer! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Sam Margolis and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steel avoids a kick to the body.
Steel throws a head kick but Beer moves out of range.
Beer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Steel tries to score a power double leg takedown but Beer sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Steel somewhat. Steel drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Beer pulls Steel in close to his closed guard and prevents Steel from doing any damage or advancing position. Beer tries to land a sweep but no joy. Steel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Beer swivels though and keeps the full guard. Beer avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Steel trying to stand up but can't free himself from Beer's guard. Steel throwing strikes from guard but Beer blocks nicely. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steel prevents Beer from getting back to his feet. Steel showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Beer fails with an attempt to clinch.
Beer lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Steel backs up against the cage.
Steel shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Beer but Beer pushes him off and we're back to square one. Beer is looking to clinch. Mike Steel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Danga de danga de dang - Beer scores with a four punch combination! Steel is looking to clinch. Beer connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Beer throws a head kick that misses. Steel has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Beer finds it's way round the side to connect with Steel's head. Beer shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Steel's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Steel keeping moving, preventing Beer from controlling successfully. Steel manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Steel prevents Beer from getting the reversal. Beer is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Beer tries to reverse the position but Steel maintains control. Steel controlling from the full mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Beer tries to get back to half guard but can't. Beer looks gassed! Beer taking shots to the head. Beer tries to hold on but Steel pushes him away. Steel wants to control the pace but Beer is squirming around nicely. Beer slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Beer wants to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Beer is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Steel pulls his head out easily. Steel keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Beer trying to control but Steel postures up.
Steel tries to pass the half guard into mount. Beer knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Steel winds up and cracks Beer with a swinging punch to the side of the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Daniel Beer dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Steel shoots in and drives through. Beer sprawls well. Beer slips a straight right by Steel. Beer fails in his attempt to clinch. No luck with that takedown attempt from Steel. Steel moves into the clinch. Steel is trying to drag Beer to the mat but Beer just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Steel. That's going to take a lot out of him. Steel tightens his grip and picks Beer up, before dumping him to the ground. Beer manages to land in guard. Steel with a flurry of punches that miss. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Beer wants to sweep here but Steel controlling him for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beer keeping moving, preventing Steel from controlling successfully. Beer not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Beer doesn't manage to clinch there - Steel circles away.
Beer's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Beer duly obliges.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Steel closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Beer did well to prevent Steel getting side control. Steel is trying to work for a kimura but Beer is defending well.
Steel is stalling here. Beer is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Steel seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Beer has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Steel is not content to let Beer control the position. Beer stands up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Steel throws a leg kick but Beer checks it. Beer looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Steel shoots for a takedown but Beer saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Beer shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Steel is trying to defend but Beer finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Steel is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Beer pulls his head out easily. Beer not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Steel is looking to control Beer's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Steel avoid being mounted? Beer tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Beer prevents Steel from improving his position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Steel has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Beer is working away from the top position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Mike Steel will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Steel lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Steel avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Beer doesn't manage to clinch there - Steel circles away.
Beer shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Steel but Steel pushes him off and we're back to square one. Steel drives through with a takedown into guard. Steel looking to pass the guard. Steel wants to stand but Beer is controlling his posture from full guard. Steel wants to stand and escape but instead Beer has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steel utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Beer wants to control from the top but Steel keeps moving. Beer showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Steel is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Beer wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Steel wants to stand but Beer has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Steel trying to control the position from guard on top but Beer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

He's got it! Beer is tapping! Wow, great finish!
