Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Marc Hunt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Eddie Bradshell! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, William Gold and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bradshell throws a sloppy head kick and Hunt moves out of range easily. Bradshell is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Some wild striking there from Hunt.
Bradshell lands a body shot.
Bradshell knocks Hunt to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?
Hunt is rocked!
It looks like Marc Hunt has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bradshell trying to control the position but Hunt is working away. Oh Hunt is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Bradshell lands a nice forearm strike. Hunt regains half guard. Hunt seems to have got his legs back now. Hunt blocking the ground and pound attempt from Bradshell. Bradshell perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Bradshell seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Bradshell controlling the pace. Bradshell prevents Hunt from standing back up.
Bradshell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hunt. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bradshell is trying to control the action in half guard but Hunt is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hunt throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Bradshell seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hunt does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Bradshell has taken the fight to the clinch.
Bradshell works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Hunt is breathing heavily. Hunt is looking to break free of the clinch but Bradshell has double underhooks. Knees to the body from Bradshell.
Bradshell manages to break the clinch.
Bradshell closes the distance and pushes Hunt back into the cage. Bradshell manages to break the clinch.
Bradshell wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bradshell darts in and clinches Hunt up against the cage. Bradshell manages to break the clinch.
Hunt keeps the fight on the outside. Bradshell lands a brutal head kick. Hunt looks out on his feet and Bradshell throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
