Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brick Bronson (ranked 5624 p4p, 5533 weight class) and Shane OMalley (ranked 226 p4p, 224 weight class). Bronson comes to the cage accompanied by Pink Floyd - Another Brick in the Wall. Shane OMalley struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 136.9lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
OMalley misses with a two punch combination.
Bronson fails to land the takedown.

Bronson closes the distance and pushes OMalley back into the cage.
The referee calls for Bronson to work.
Bronson scores with a hook to the body.
OMalley blocking some punches.
OMalley looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
OMalley wants to break free but Bronson has control.
OMalley has had enough of the clinch but Bronson keeps him there for the moment.
Bronson is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.

Bronson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bronson shoots in looking for a takedown. OMalley tries to sprawl out of it but Bronson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. OMalley manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bronson tries to close the distance and clinch up but OMalley swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bronson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Bronson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. OMalley tries to avoid it but Bronson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag OMalley to the ground. OMalley escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
OMalley throws a right and a left that Bronson avoids nicely.

OMalley scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Bronson throws a head kick but OMalley moves out of range.
Shane OMalley is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

OMalley gets underhooks to prevent Bronson's takedown attempt.
Bronson stalling in the clinch but OMalley improves position.

Bronson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
OMalley scores with a one two! Bronson had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

It looks like Brick Bronson has been cut.
OMalley throws a leg kick but Bronson sees it coming and checks it nicely.
OMalley lands a jab-cross combination.
OMalley fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bronson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
OMalley lands with a cross.
OMalley lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by OMalley.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bronson is defended easily by OMalley.

Shane OMalley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

OMalley lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Bronson backs up against the cage.

Bronson is rocked!
OMalley cracks Bronson with a left hook right on the temple and Bronson goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! OMalley lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Bronson is OK!

Shane OMalley tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
