Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pasha Kislyak (ranked 3353 p4p, 2642 weight class) and The Maan (ranked 377 p4p, 315 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Pasha Kislyak has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Pasha Kislyak seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pasha Kislyak! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, The Maan! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Illya Tyunina and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maan thuds his right hand into Kislyak's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Kislyak steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Maan. Kislyak with a poor takedown and Maan counters with a nice uppercut. Kislyak shoots in for a takedown but Maan shows good takedown defense. Maan's coach down at BKC Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Maan's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Kislyak shoots in for a takedown but Maan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pasha Kislyak. That's going to take a lot out of him. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Maan, as that shot connected.
Kislyak has his takedown stuffed and Maan counters with a right hand to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice defenses there by Kislyak. Kislyak tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Maan swivels and escapes.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Maan looks to score with a jab to the body but Kislyak is just out of range. Pasha Kislyak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Some wild striking there from Kislyak.
Maan is looking for the big counter here. Kislyak will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Kislyak shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Maan napping and manages to drive through into side control! This has been an exciting period of action! Maan tries to escape but Kislyak is in control. Kislyak avoids the strikes from the bottom by Maan. Maan is pushing Kislyak's head away, looking to escape. Kislyak manages to hold on to the position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kislyak wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Maan, who protects the arm well. Kislyak thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

He has the arm isolated but Maan is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Kislyak throws a strike aimed at the side of Maan's head but Maan avoids it well. Kislyak tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Kislyak is trying to get an arm triangle but Maan is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Maan is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Kislyak is controlling him well. Kislyak misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Kislyak has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Kislyak is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Maan has escaped the position, nice work there. Maan is trying to get back to his feet. Maan wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land. Maan wants to control but Kislyak postures up. Maan wants to get back to his feet but Kislyak drags him back down. Maan struggling a bit here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Maan is looking for the big counter here. Kislyak shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Maan counters with a stiff right hand. Maan waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kislyak. Kislyak fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Maan avoids it really well and circles away. A countering left hand to the body from Maan misses. Maan misses with a hook. Kislyak ducked under it nicely. Kislyak gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily enabling Maan to counter with a crisp jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kislyak is defended easily by Maan. Maan now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Kislyak tries to close the distance and clinch up but Maan swats him away and circles back towards the center. Kislyak walks into a straight right hand from Maan. Kislyak with a poor takedown and Kislyak takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. The Maan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kislyak with a poor takedown and Maan counters with a nice right hand that sends Kislyak toppling to the canvas! Kislyak scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Maan finish him?!
Kislyak is rocked! Maan is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Maan shuts the power down on Kislyak. Lights out, game over! Maan is your winner.
