Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Worf Mogh (ranked 874 p4p, 1449 weight class) and Steve Louis (ranked 44 p4p, 82 weight class). Mogh's entrance music is Gimme The Loot. A fine choice. Worf Mogh could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Steve Louis's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Steve Louis!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Vladimir Khabensky and Konstantin Menshow.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Louis shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mogh pinned against the cage. Mogh gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Louis tries to sprawl but Mogh drives through with a takedown into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Louis makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Louis.

Louis looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mogh sitting in guard here, content to control.
Mogh lands a couple of elbows.

Mogh thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Mogh is looking to work some ground and pound but Louis has wrist control.

Louis is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Mogh stands up over Louis, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Mogh is stalling in the full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mogh accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Mogh keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Louis's head.
Mogh wants to pass the guard but Louis is keeping the position.
Mogh with a flurry of punches that miss.

Mogh stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Louis swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Mogh chips away with some ground and pound.
Mogh is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Louis is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Louis wants to pass to mount but Mogh is defending the position.

Louis seems to be working for a kimura but Mogh defends the submission attempt.

Louis tries to pass the half guard into mount. Mogh knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Mogh can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Louis controls the pace.
Mogh is pulling down on Louis's head to control his posture.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Mogh is on top in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Louis looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Mogh with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Louis is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Mogh defends well.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Worf Mogh dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Mogh misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Mogh shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Louis but Louis pushes him off and we're back to square one.
No luck for Louis with that takedown attempt.

Mogh closes the distance and pushes Louis back into the cage.
Mogh definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Louis tries to pull guard but Mogh won't allow it.
Mogh gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Louis.
Worf Mogh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Louis.

Mogh has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Louis is trying to keep an underhook but Mogh manages to get the takedown into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mogh seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Mogh is nestled in close to Louis, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Mogh is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Louis is hurt! He's hurt bad - Mogh fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Louis from any more punishment! Congratulations to Mogh! Great finish!
