Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bjorn Thorgard (ranked 3744 p4p, 5849 weight class) and Albert Blaird (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thorgard blocks a head kick by Blaird.
Thorgard appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Blaird misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Blaird fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Blaird moves in looking to clinch but Thorgard pushes him off.
Blaird tries to score a power double leg takedown but Thorgard sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Blaird somewhat.
Thorgard drops down looking for a counter takedown but Blaird sprawls and moves away.
Bjorn Thorgard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Albert Blaird.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
