Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harold Feeny (ranked 4858 p4p, 4011 weight class) and Bobby Dent (ranked 536 p4p, 492 weight class). Dent has chosen Dr. Feelgood as his entrance music. Bobby Dent is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Harold Feeny! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 15 - 23 - 0, fighting out of London, Bobby Dent! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Phil Schofield and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Feeny throws a combination that misses and Dent counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Dent is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Dent is trying to work for a kimura but Feeny is defending well.
Feeny tries to kick Dent off but Dent keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Feeny is defending against the submission attempts here by Dent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dent throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Feeny to regain full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dent wants to control from the top but Feeny keeps moving. Dent is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Dent drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dent jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Dent trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Dent is looking to work some ground and pound but Feeny has wrist control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Dent postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Feeny is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Dent, into his guard.
Feeny stands up from Dent's guard - Feeny perhaps looking for a knockout. Feeny looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Feeny throws a series of punches but Dent avoids them all with ease. Feeny feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Dent scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Harold Feeny seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Feeny wants to clinch but Dent slips to the side and Dent counters with a single leg into guard. Feeny didn't expect that. Feeny kicks Dent off and gets to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dent looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Feeny misses with a leg kick and Dent counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Feeny! Dent just content to control the position. Dent swings around for an armbar but Feeny sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Dent's guard. Feeny trying to stand up but can't free himself from Dent's guard. Feeny trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Feeny got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dent has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Feeny has managed to get both his arms back between Dent's legs - danger averted. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dent isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Feeny stacks Dent on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Feeny! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Feeny wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dent keeps working. Dent trying to remain calm as Feeny controls from the top position. Feeny trying to control the action but Dent is working from the bottom. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Harold Feeny will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Feeny shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dent pinned against the cage. Dent gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Feeny leaves Dent with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Feeny defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Dent. Feeny will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Dent dives in for a single leg takedown but Feeny sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Feeny is looking to counter the offense by Dent and move into the clinch. Harold Feeny has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Dent. Let's hope that Dent has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Feeny is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dent accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Feeny avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Dent working some strikes from top position. Dent postures up in Feeny's guard and throws a big left but Feeny blocks it. Dent drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dent jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Feeny keeping moving, preventing Dent from controlling successfully. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup. Dent drops back looking for a leg! Feeny is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Feeny manages to kick Dent off! Dent jumps back into Feeny's guard. Feeny on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Feeny tries to get out of the position.

Feeny goes for a double leg but Dent avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Dent continues to drive forward. Feeny is defending well against a takedown attempt. Feeny's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Feeny stuffs the takedown. Feeny appears to be looking for a big counter. A close second round but Bobby Dent will probably get the nod - 10:9. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round! Dent darts in looking for a takedown but Feeny gets double underhooks and turns Dent into the cage. It looked like Feeny was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Dent. Dent shoots in but no luck this time. Dent shoots for a takedown but Feeny saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Harold Feeny has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Dent. Feeny gets in close and instigates a clinch. Dent is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Feeny lands with a short head shot on the inside. Dent drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Feeny gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Dent changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Feeny fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Feeny dives in and grabs Dent's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dent pushes down on Feeny's head and hops out. Feeny sets himself, and Dent steps forward looking for the clinch! Feeny avoids it this time. Dent stuffs the takedown. Feeny tries to close the distance and clinch but Dent swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Feeny shoots in looking for a takedown. Dent tries to sprawl out of it but Feeny keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dent manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Feeny tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dent defends well and Feeny ends up having to push Dent into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Dent is looking for a takedown. Feeny wants the takedown. Dent is fighting it off but Feeny persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Dent's guard against the cage. Dent uses the cage to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Feeny dives in and scores a takedown into Dent's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dent keeping moving, preventing Feeny from controlling successfully. Dent is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Feeny is controlling him. Feeny trying to control but Dent is working from the bottom. Bobby Dent has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dent tries to strike from the bottom.
Feeny wants to stand but Dent is controlling his posture from full guard. Feeny wants to control from the top but Dent keeps moving. Feeny looking to sit in guard and control but Dent gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Dent lands a couple of decent looking shots. Dent throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Dent is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Feeny knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dent on the ground. Dent working some strikes from top position. Dent wants to control from the top but Feeny keeps moving. Dent is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Harold Feeny. I think Feeny has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
