The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Officer uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Friomannsson.
A big right from Officer misses.
A countering left hand to the body from Friomannsson misses.
Officer misses the jab.
No joy there for Friomannsson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Officer walks into a straight right hand from Friomannsson.

Officer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Friomannsson tries to clinch but Officer is having none of it.
Officer gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Friomannsson counters with a crisp right hand that drops Officer! Friomannsson lets Officer back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Officer is rocked!
Friomannsson thuds a left hand into Officer's body.
Friomannsson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Friomannsson misses with a hook.
Officer gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Friomannsson gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vigmar Friomannsson!
Vigmar Friomannsson bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
