Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Akira Maeda (ranked 489 p4p, 769 weight class) and Tristan St. Gough (ranked 75 p4p, 117 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Akira Maeda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tristan St. Gough!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Topper Green and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maeda staying out of range there.
St. Gough connects with a body shot that sends Maeda's belly button to the back.
Maeda steps to the side to avoid the strikes from St. Gough.
St. Gough clinches.
St. Gough has a couple of punches blocked by Maeda.
Maeda manages to break the clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Maeda.
St. Gough misses with a hook to the body
and Maeda counters with a stiff right hand.
We've been informed that St. Gough has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Maeda uses good head movement to avoid the hook from St. Gough.
St. Gough connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Maeda momentarily.
Maeda lands an overhand right.
St. Gough scores with a nice strike.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Maeda pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Maeda throws an uppercut from half a mile away. St. Gough sees it coming and avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
St. Gough drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Maeda right on the button. Maeda goes down! St. Gough follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! St. Gough gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tristan St. Gough!
