The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Houston fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Duchesne looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Houston fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Houston connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

It looks like Loic Duchesne has been cut.
Duchesne takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Houston ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

and Houston counters with a nice uppercut.
Houston uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Duchesne.
Houston ducks under a wild hook from Duchesne.
Houston lands with a nice body punch.

Houston has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Duchesne is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Duchesne closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Duchesne looks up at the clock. Bad move! Houston lands a right hand from hell, dropping Duchesne. Houston pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
