Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tony Big!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, David Wilkins!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Big lands a jab-cross combination.

Big scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Wilkins doesn't seem bothered though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Big gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Wilkins goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Big shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Wilkins napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Big is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Wilkins has escaped the position, nice work there.
Big wants to control but Wilkins is keeping him busy.

Big thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Big tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Big has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Big wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wilkins keeps working.

Wilkins really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Big. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wilkins shoots in looking for a takedown. Big tries to sprawl out of it but Wilkins keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Big manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Big ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Big lands a nice hook to Wilkins's body. Wilkins takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Big lands with an uppercut that bounces Wilkins off the ropes and back into rage.

Wilkins has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Big finds it's way round the side to connect with Wilkins's head.

Big wants to finish this one by submission but Wilkins is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Big.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Wilkins shoots for a takedown but Big saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Big throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Big closes the distance and clinches up with Wilkins, looking for a takedown. Big pushes Wilkins against the ropes but Wilkins circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Wilkins throws a hook but Big avoids it easily.

Big tries to land a front kick but Wilkins steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Wilkins shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Big pinned against the cage. Big gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Big is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wilkins.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Wilkins connects with a nice short shot to Big's temple.
Wilkins looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Big with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Big moves into the clinch successfully.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Wilkins's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Big feints and as Wilkins raises his hands in defense, Big changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Big trying to control the position from guard on top but Wilkins is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Wilkins escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Big gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

And that's the end of the fight!
Tony Big showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Big has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
