Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Quandale Dingle (ranked 5327 p4p, 24368 weight class) and Minatay Mibangon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Quandale Dingle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 14 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Minatay Mibangon!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shirou Masuda and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab from Dingle.
It looks like Minatay Mibangon has been cut.
Nice sprawl there from Mibangon as Dingle shoots in.
Mibangon only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Dingle misses with a few strikes there.
Mibangon counters with a body kick.
Dingle thuds his right hand into Mibangon's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Mibangon doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Dingle counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Mibangon thinking.
Mibangon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dingle tries to avoid it but Mibangon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dingle to the ground. Dingle escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Dingle misses with a series of wild punches.
Dingle closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Mibangon's guard.
Dingle stands up and waves to Mibangon to follow him.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

No joy there for Dingle, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mibangon flicks out a counter leg kick but Dingle steps away.
Dingle dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mibangon. That did some damage!
Dingle will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mibangon throws a fast counter high kick but Dingle manages to duck under it in time.
Dingle misses with a jab, cross combination.
Mibangon counters with a body kick.
Dingle's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Dingle duly obliges.
Dingle ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Dingle comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Mibangon shoots in for a double leg but Dingle sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Quandale Dingle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Minatay Mibangon.
Dingle misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dingle closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mibangon circles away.

Dingle's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Dingle is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Mibangon can do to turn this around?

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dingle has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Dingle seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Mibangon for as long as he can get away with.
