This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 9 wins and 3 losses; Nykolai Kersikov! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 6 wins and 11 losses; Bea Mason!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Joseph Jones and Steve Montenegro.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Mason shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kersikov napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kersikov tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Mason wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Mason wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kersikov keeps working.

Mason tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mason has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Mason drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kersikov manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Mason has Kersikov in his guard.

Mason escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kersikov gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Kersikov slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
