Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Masakazu Imanari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Light Yagami (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Imanari's entrance music is I BRING YOU DOWN!. A fine choice. Light Yagami has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Masakazu Imanari! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Light Yagami! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Ren Mimura and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch combination from Imanari misses. Imanari displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Yagami. Imanari misses with a body shot.
A head kick misses from Yagami. Imanari scores with a decent looking hook. Yagami fails to land the takedown. Left hook, right uppercut from Imanari. Decent striking displayed by Imanari there. Imanari lands with a nice combination. Yagami backs away looking to recover.
Yagami is rocked! Yagami shoots for a takedown but Imanari saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Masakazu Imanari has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Light Yagami. Imanari rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Yagami moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Imanari stuffs the takedown. Yagami shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Yagami was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Yagami sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Imanari is looking to improve his position but Yagami isn't that keen on the idea. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
That's one minute gone in the round. Imanari slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Imanari trying to hold on to Yagami's head to control him but Yagami postures up.
Yagami trying to control from half guard but Imanari is working away. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Imanari works his way to full guard. Good work. Yagami trying to control the position from guard on top but Imanari is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Yagami stopping the sweep attempt from Imanari.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Yagami is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Imanari has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Yagami is looking to defend but Imanari has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Yagami! Imanari pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Yagami taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Masakazu Imanari!
