Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Phol Hunter (ranked 3131 p4p, 2520 weight class) and Hinto Kangee (ranked 403 p4p, 327 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Phol Hunter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hinto Kangee! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kangee throws out a loose jab but Hunter uses good head movement to avoid it. Hunter fails with the takedown. Kangee gets a double leg takedown into Hunter's guard. Kangee slips nicely into half guard. Hunter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kangee on the ground. Hunter is staying active underneath Kangee, who seems content to just control the action from this position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kangee is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Kangee is looking to take a break and control but Hunter is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Kangee throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hunter tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kangee is in Hunter's guard.

Kangee wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hunter keeps working. Kangee thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kangee tries for a kimura but Hunter is defending well. Kangee tries to advance to mount but Hunter denies him. Kangee is looking to take a break and control but Hunter is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Hunter is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Hunter regains half guard there - taking advantage of Kangee's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. Kangee looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Hunter is staying active underneath Kangee, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hunter is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Kangee is keen to just control but Hunter is a slippery customer. And that is the end of the round. Hinto Kangee dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Hunter tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kangee swivels and escapes. Kangee changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Kangee stuffs the takedown attempt from Hunter. Hunter gets slowly back to his feet. Kangee tries to counter with a clinch but Hunter shakes him off and moves away. Hunter will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Nice takedown defense from Hunter. No joy for Kangee on that attempt. Kangee misses with a wild body shot. Hunter slips a straight right by Kangee. A momentary lapse in concentration from Hunter enables Kangee to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hunter manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Hunter is controlling Kangee's position as best he can from this difficult position. Kangee is looking to take a break and control but Hunter is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kangee is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Let's see what he can do from the top position. Kangee wants to control from the top but Hunter keeps moving. Kangee has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Kangee advances to half guard. Kangee is trying to control. Hunter wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Kangee might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Hunter haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Hunter on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hunter tries to get out of the position. Hunter is controlling Kangee's trapped leg to prevent Kangee from advancing to side control. Kangee is controlling the pace.

Kangee tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hunter defends well and Kangee ends up having to push Hunter into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Kangee gets caught napping as Hunter dives in and scores a takedown. Kangee manages to retain guard. Kangee has his foot on Hunter's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hunter works his way back into a safe position though. Hunter won't allow Kangee to sweep him here. Hunter avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Kangee wants to sweep here but Hunter controlling him for the moment. Kangee working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hunter doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hunter manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kangee looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Hunter is defending well. Kangee quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Hunter has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Kangee celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
