The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abdullah fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Nice takedown defense from Gautier. No joy for Abdullah on that attempt.
Gautier displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Abdullah throws out the jab.
Abdullah looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Gautier!
Gautier bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Abdullah looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Gautier stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gautier wants it to stay on the feet.

Abdullah shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Gautier napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Gautier is pushing Abdullah 's head away, looking to escape. Abdullah manages to hold on to the position though.

Abdullah lands a strong strike to the head of Gautier. That's dazed him! Abdullah looking to finish here. Gautier is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Abdullah lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
