Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kik Long (ranked 4145 p4p, 4141 weight class) and Cactus Jack (ranked 0 p4p, 449 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jack gets a double leg takedown into Long's guard.

Long throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Long is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jack is aware though and is defending well.

Long seems to have got his legs back now.

Jack keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Long's head.

Long lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Jack has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Long can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Jack wants to sweep but no luck.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Long fails with a takedown attempt.
Jack swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Jack shoots in and bounces Long off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Long wants to sweep here but Jack controlling him for the moment.

Jack postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Jack is working Long over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Long controls Jack momentarily but Jack frees himself.

Jack lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

That's time! Long's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Long shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jack but Jack pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Jack connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Long some visible discomfort.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jack looks up at the clock and then as Long takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Jack smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Jack creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Jack lands a strong strike to the head of Long. That's dazed him! Jack looking to finish here. Long is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Jack lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
