Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David Jackson (ranked 4128 p4p, 4958 weight class) and Mike Chandler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mike Chandler has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, David Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Chandler! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Glass and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson darts in looking for a takedown but Chandler gets double underhooks and turns Jackson into the cage. Jackson sets himself, and Chandler steps forward looking for the clinch! Jackson avoids it this time. Chandler looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Come on Jackson - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Chandler throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Jackson is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Chandler is defending well. Jackson pulls guard effortlessly. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jackson looking for a sweep. Not yet Jackson, not yet. Jackson working a defensive guard here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chandler is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup. Jackson wants to sweep here but Chandler controlling him for the moment.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Jackson moves into the clinch. Jackson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Chandler shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Jackson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Jackson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson closes the distance and clinches. Jackson misses with a hook to the ribs.

Chandler tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Jackson smiles and moves away.
Chandler stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Chandler wants it to stay on the feet. Jackson misses with a double jab
and Chandler makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Chandler looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chandler takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Jackson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Chandler sprawls well. Chandler wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jackson gets slowly back to his feet. Chandler lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Chandler showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jackson.
Chandler displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jackson. No luck for Jackson with that takedown attempt. Jackson moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jackson misses with a takedown and Chandler moves into the clinch. Jackson wants to get back to striking at distance but Chandler won't allow it.
Chandler blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Jackson is looking to take this one to the mat. Chandler is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Chandler is trying to push Jackson away but Jackson has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
David Jackson dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Jackson shoots in looking for a takedown. Chandler tries to sprawl out of it but Jackson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chandler manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jackson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Chandler was covering up waiting for the punch and Jackson finishes the takedown easily into guard. Chandler pulls Jackson in close to his closed guard and prevents Jackson from doing any damage or advancing position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jackson stands and throws Chandler's legs to the side, diving into side control. Chandler is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Jackson trying to control the position but Chandler is working away. Jackson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jackson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Jackson wants to control but Chandler is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. You can see the frustration on Chandler's face as Jackson controls the position. Jackson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Chandler keeps working. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jackson advances nicely into full mount. Jackson trying to control but he's not successful this time. Jackson working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Jackson clinches with his opponent.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Chandler throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Jackson throws a big counter combination but Chandler scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Jackson fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Jackson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Horrible takedown attempt by Jackson or perhaps it was just good defense by Chandler, which made it look bad. Jackson is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Chandler lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jackson circles away quickly and effectively. Jackson wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Jackson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Jackson has closed the distance and engaged Chandler in a clinch.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Jackson goes for a double leg but Chandler avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Chandler continues to drive forward. Chandler prevents the takedown attempt.
Chandler has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jackson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Jackson wants to take the fight to the mat but Chandler manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Jackson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jackson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Chandler counters with a straight right hand. Jackson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jackson wants it to stay on the feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jackson throws a sloppy head kick and Chandler moves out of range easily. Chandler shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
And that's the end of the fight! David Jackson showed his dominance in that final round. Well Jackson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
