PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Willson Miao (ranked 4129 p4p, 4082 weight class) and Endrit Shehu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shehu has chosen Albanian as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice straight punches there by Shehu. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Shehu.
Miao avoids a punch combination nicely.

Shehu gets a double leg takedown into Miao's guard.
Shehu wants to control from the top but Miao keeps moving.
Miao pulls Shehu in close to prevent any damage.
Miao really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Miao throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Shehu trying to control but Miao is working from the bottom.
Miao bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Shehu's guard.

Miao wants to stand but Shehu is controlling his posture from full guard.
Miao is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Shehu throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Miao's waist but Miao gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Shehu off to one side.
Shehu throws a head kick but Miao moves out of range.

Miao looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Shehu!
Miao lands a decent elbow from side control.
Miao will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Miao is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Miao extends the arm and Shehu is forced to tap!
