Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marco Paris (ranked 257 p4p, 661 weight class) and Pat Kelly (ranked 35 p4p, 99 weight class). Pat Kelly told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marco Paris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pat Kelly!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Paris has time to react.
Kelly scores with a jab to the head.
Paris throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kelly's waist but Kelly gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Paris off to one side.
Paris misses the shot to the body.
Kelly leaves Paris with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Paris shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kelly defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marco Paris. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Paris fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Kelly has taken the fight to the clinch.
Paris has Kelly pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Kelly manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kelly passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Paris tries to bench press Kelly off him but Kelly keeps the position.
Kelly tries for a kimura but Paris is defending well.
Kelly is putting a hurting on Paris here, landing some big shots from side control.

Kelly wants to control but Paris is keeping him busy.
Paris is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Kelly's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Paris is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Paris is on top in guard.

Paris is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kelly drops an elbow to the side of Paris's head.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Paris's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Kelly works the jab nicely.

and Paris counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Kelly is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Paris is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kelly's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kelly's back!
Kelly is trying to stand back up.
Pat Kelly has got the better of the ground game so far.
Paris cracks Kelly with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Kelly from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
It looks like Pat Kelly has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Paris scores with punches from the back.
Kelly is rocked!
Paris lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Paris.
Kelly is still in real trouble! Can Paris finish him?
Paris scoring with big shots to the body. Kelly is looking for a way out. A despairing look towards the ref and the official steps in to stop the fight. Kelly was obviously done but didn't want to tap out.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marco Paris!
Marco Paris really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Brooklyn Apothecary logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
