Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jason Smith (ranked 4095 p4p, 4107 weight class) and Bully Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 501 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Winston Howard and Chris Dean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones looks for a takedown but Smith sprawls well.

Smith shoots for a double leg takedown but Jones sprawls well. He's pushed Smith's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Jason Smith is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Smith feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
