Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Higanti Libat (ranked 23813 p4p, 24256 weight class) and Way Nada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Higanti Libat! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Way Nada! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Libat stuffs the takedown attempt from Nada. Nada gets slowly back to his feet. Libat fails with a takedown attempt. Nada thinks about the counter body kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Libat manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Nada on his heels. He'll look to pass Nada's guard now, I'm sure.
That's one minute gone in the round. Libat not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Nada has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Nada wants to hit a sweep here but Libat passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Nada there! Nada tries to lock up and control but Libat gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Libat can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Nada is looking to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nada wants to control but Libat is having none of it. Nada tries to reverse the position but Libat maintains control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Libat putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Nada tries to hold on but Libat postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Libat controlling the pace for now. Nada tries to lock up and control but Libat gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Nada manages to regain half guard. Good work. Libat content to control rather than advance. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Higanti Libat dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Libat with a lazy takedown attempt and Nada counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Libat controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Nada missing with the ground and pound from half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nada looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Nada is continuing to stall.
That's one minute gone in the round. Libat avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Nada. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Nada performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Nada fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Libat jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Libat shoots in but no luck this time. Nada steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Nada shoots in but no luck this time. Nada fails with a takedown attempt. Libat went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Higanti Libat has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Way Nada. Libat stuffs the takedown attempt from Nada. Nada gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nada gets caught flat footed, as Libat shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Libat stops Nada from standing up. Libat stopping the sweep attempt from Nada.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Libat is stalling in the full guard. Higanti Libat overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Nada is on top in guard.

A close second round but Way Nada will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Libat throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Nada was covering up waiting for the punch and Libat finishes the takedown easily into guard. Nada is controlling Libat's posture.

Libat stays in close to Nada's body and controls the position. Libat is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Nada can do to turn this around? Nada looking for a sweep. Not yet Nada, not yet. Nada seems keen to control Libat's posture. The adventures of Nada the control monster continue. Boring. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nada gets off balance looking for a body kick and Libat counters with a nice body kick.
Nada shoots in looking for a takedown. Libat tries to sprawl out of it but Nada keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Libat manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Libat stuffs the takedown. Libat displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Nada. Libat half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Higanti Libat has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Way Nada. Libat scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nada is trying to control Libat's posture but Libat avoids it. Libat controls the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that's the end of the fight! Higanti Libat showed his dominance in that final round. Well Libat has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
