Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Will Fields!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Big Chris!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Thiago Cunha and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fields will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Fields doesn't manage to clinch there - Chris circles away.
A decent looking cross lands there for Chris.
Fields throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fields is defended easily by Chris.
Fields leaves Chris with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Chris gets in close and instigates a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fields tries to pull guard but Chris holds him up against the cage and eventually Fields drops back down to his feet.
Chris wants to take the fight to the mat but Fields manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Fields drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Will Fields. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fields is pressed up against the cage. Chris has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Fields down to the mat. Fields avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Chris takes a swing at Fields's ribcage but misses.
Chris fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Fields gets tackled into the cage by Chris. Chris maintains the clinch.
A left hand lands to the body for Chris.
Chris is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Fields is defending well.
Fields looking to slow down the pace here.
Chris lands an uppercut.
Chris scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Chris digs a right hand into Fields's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Fields's gas tank.
A right hook to the body lands for Chris.
Chris lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Fields tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Chris digs a right hand underneath Fields's ribcage. Fields let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Fields is breathing heavily.
Chris lands with a right to the head.
Chris lands a left hand that snaps the head of Fields backwards.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fields is trying to break the clinch but Chris is controlling him.
Chris working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Chris looking for a takedown.
A right handed body shot lands from Chris.
Fields wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Chris lands a hook that snaps the head of Fields backwards.
Fields's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Fields is rocked!
Chris swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Oh Fields is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fields tries to pull guard but Chris holds him up against the cage and eventually Fields drops back down to his feet.
Chris swings wildly with an uppercut but Fields uses good head movement to avoid it.
Fields seems to have got his legs back now.
Chris lands a right hand.
Chris throws a big uppercut that drops Fields! More strikes from Chris and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Fields lies dazed against the cage as Chris celebrates with his cornermen!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Big Chris!
