The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams dives in and grabs Griggs's left leg, looking for a takedown. Griggs pushes down on Adams's head and hops out.
Griggs tries a low kick but Adams avoids it.
Adams connects with a solid leg kick.
Griggs throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Griggs lands a right hook to the body.
Adams misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Adams is looking to clinch.
Griggs looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Griggs throws a lazy head kick
enabling Adams to counter with a crisp jab.
Griggs throws a nice looking combination but Adams bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Griggs stuns Adams with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Griggs rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Adams moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Griggs escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Griggs counters with a stiff right hand.

and Griggs counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
