Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Kerouac (ranked 2768 p4p, 2419 weight class) and Doyle Brunson (ranked 388 p4p, 349 weight class). Jack Kerouac has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jack Kerouac!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Doyle Brunson!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brunson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Brunson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Brunson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Kerouac manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Kerouac is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Brunson is controlling him.

Brunson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kerouac with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Brunson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kerouac does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Kerouac lands a left and a right that send Brunson crashing to the mat, dazed. Kerouac thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Brunson has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Kerouac.
Brunson is still on wobbly legs! Can Kerouac finish him?
Kerouac flashes Brunson a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Brunson's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Brunson crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Kerouac punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jack Kerouac!
In his post fight interview, Jack Kerouac started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
