Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Link Hunington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elijah Carr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hunington comes to the cage accompanied by Remember the name. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Elijah Carr! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carr stuffs the takedown. Hunington gets a takedown into half guard. Hunington is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Hunington is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Carr working for a triangle but Hunington defends it easily.
Hunington slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hunington working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hunington looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Carr is trying to improve his position. Hunington looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Carr is looking to reverse the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Hunington thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Hunington is breathing heavily. Carr gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Carr trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Hunington manages to pass to mount!

Hunington wants to finish this one by submission but Carr is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Hunington.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carr is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Carr gets back to half guard. Carr is trying to get back to full guard. Hunington wants to free his trapped foot but Carr is holding on for dear life with his legs. Carr is trying to maintain the position but Hunington is very close to passing his half guard. Hunington trying to control from half guard but Carr is working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Hunington trying to advance position but Carr counters by regaining guard. Hunington is pushing down on Carr's leg trying to pass to half guard. Carr is fighting to maintain full guard but Hunington has managed to sneak the leg through. Hunington tries to pass to full mount but Carr defends it. Carr is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hunington's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hunington's back! Carr throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. Hunington rolls, trying to escape but Carr keeps control of the position.
Hunington is working hard here to advance position. Hunington tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Link Hunington dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Hunington shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Carr but Carr pushes him off and we're back to square one. Hunington looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Carr is fending him off so far but Hunington persists. Nope, Carr circles away and we're back to standing. Carr decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Carr trying to control from half guard but Hunington is working away. Carr has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Hunington sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hunington is pressing down on Carr's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Carr avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Carr working some strikes from top position. Hunington looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Carr has picked Hunington up and slammed him! Hunington can't keep hold of the triangle and Carr manages to pass to side control! Carr landing strikes. Hunington prevents Carr from improving position. Hunington is looking for a sweep. Hunington tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Carr presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hunington is in all sorts of trouble here.
Carr has control of Hunington's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Hunington regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Hunington regains half guard. Carr tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Hunington. Hunington works his way to full guard. Good work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hunington looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Hunington has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Carr is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Hunington. Hunington is looking for a sweep. Hunington is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Hunington regains half guard. Carr tries to pass the half guard into mount. Hunington knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Hunington is trying to maintain the position but Carr is very close to passing his half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hunington tries to roll over but Carr keeps him under control. Carr trying to control from half guard but Hunington is working away. Hunington is trying to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hunington moves in looking to clinch but Carr pushes him off. Hunington with a lazy takedown attempt and Carr counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Link Hunington. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hunington has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Carr can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Elijah Carr will probably get the nod - 10:9. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Hunington fails with the takedown and Carr counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Hunington! Hunington is desperately trying to improve his position but Carr has a good base and remains in mount. Carr looking to ground and pound but Hunington is blocking nicely. Carr lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The referee warns Hunington that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Carr tries to control but Hunington wriggling away. Hunington working to try and regain half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carr is working for a guillotine from mount but Hunington frees his head quite easily.
Hunington is working to get back to half guard.
Carr misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Hunington tries to hold on but Carr pushes him away.

Hunington tries to lock up and control but Carr gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Carr looking to control but Hunington is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Hunington regains half guard. Hunington keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Carr is looking for a kimura but Hunington is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Carr to get the leverage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hunington moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Carr tries to free his leg and advance position but Hunington is retaining full guard. Hunington is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Carr frees his head nicely. Oh but Hunington has switched to an armbar! Carr is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
