Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 1, fighting out of New York, Vlad Dracul!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Boromir Khan!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurstr�m and Anni Minnem�ki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan shoots in for a takedown but Dracul shows good takedown defense.
Dracul cracks Khan with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
It looks like Boromir Khan has been cut.
Khan shoots in for a double leg but Dracul sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Dracul has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Tran MMA Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Dracul connects with a single shot there.
Dracul lands with a nice body punch.
Dracul misses with an uppercut.
And Khan tries to counter it with a takedown but Dracul pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Dracul bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Khan has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Dracul stuffs the takedown.
Vlad Dracul has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boromir Khan.
Dracul ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Khan moves away.
Dracul pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Khan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dracul as he avoids it easily.
Dracul drops Khan with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Khan looks back up at him and smiles so Dracul waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Khan is rocked!
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dracul fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Khan to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Khan looks to clinch but Dracul throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Khan taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Vlad Dracul!
Our winner, Vlad Dracul, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
