Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dalton McConnell!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Topper Green and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Genie tries to clinch there but McConnell circles away.
McConnell lands a jab to the nose.
It looks like Sky Genie has been cut.
McConnell digs a good body shot into Genie's ribs.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Genie doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
McConnell throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
McConnell jabs at Genie's body.
McConnell scores with a hook.
Genie moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
McConnell lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Genie is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McConnell ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Genie's jaw. Genie's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! McConnell does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dalton McConnell!
Dalton McConnell decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
