Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chad Bartz (ranked 260 p4p, 506 weight class) and David Scott (ranked 45 p4p, 76 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chad Bartz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, David Scott!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Summer Carpenter and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bartz throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bartz looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Bartz looks to throw the jab but Scott is out of range.
Scott tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Bartz throws a left and a right that both miss

and Scott counters with a shoot takedown. Bartz fights it but they end up in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Scott wants to control from the top but Bartz keeps moving.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Scott tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bartz manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Chad Bartz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Scott looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bartz is fending him off so far but Scott persists. Nope, Bartz circles away and we're back to standing.

Bartz avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bartz appears to be looking for a big counter.

Bartz feints and then cracks Scott's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Scott down.
Bartz connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Scott momentarily.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Scott tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bartz manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Bartz looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Bartz bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Scott's head backwards.
Nice defenses there by Scott.
Chad Bartz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Bartz misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Scott.
A little jabbing left from Scott on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Scott uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bartz.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Scott jumps guard but Bartz stands there with Scott around his waist. Scott gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Scott tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bartz just stands there and leans against the cage.

Bartz fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Scott has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

That's time! Bartz's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Bartz ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Scott on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
