Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between derek jensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesus Villalobos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). jensen's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, renegade. derek jensen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
jensen misses with a takedown attempt - Villalobos sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
jensen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Villalobos but Villalobos pushes him off and we're back to square one.
jensen misses with a head kick.
Villalobos moves into the clinch successfully.
jensen prevents the takedown attempt.
jensen unloads a knee to the mid-section. Villalobos lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
jensen is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Villalobos pulls him back up using the underhooks.

jensen has hold of one of Villalobos's legs. Villalobos is fighting the takedown attempt but jensen gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Villalobos is looking to regain half guard here but jensen keeps moving and retains side control.

jensen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Villalobos keeps working.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Villalobos throws a leg kick but jensen sees it coming and moves out of range.
jensen shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

jensen looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Villalobos with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Horrible takedown by jensen or perhaps it was just good defense by Villalobos which made him look bad.
jensen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Villalobos's waist but Villalobos gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing jensen off to one side.

Villalobos closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming jensen to the mat! jensen manages to get full guard.
