Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Choctaw Bloode (ranked 2227 p4p, 2442 weight class) and Nigel Benn Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bloode has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 15 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Choctaw Bloode! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 38 - 33 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nigel Benn Jr! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Benn Jr lands an overhand right. Bloode defending well as Benn Jr loads up on a big left hand. It looked like Bloode was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Benn Jr. Benn Jr misses with a leg kick and Bloode counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Nigel Benn Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Benn Jr lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Bloode is breathing heavily. A clash of legs there as Bloode blocks the low kick. Bloode misses with a jab to the body
and Benn Jr connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Bloode throws a right hand that misses
and Bloode takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Benn Jr fails to land with a series of punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A solid leg kick lands there for Benn Jr.
Bloode throws a lazy right hand but Benn Jr sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Bloode keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bloode takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Benn Jr throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bloode looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Bloode takes one to the side of the head.
Nice shot lands for Benn Jr. Benn Jr throws out a leg kick but Bloode moves out of range and Benn Jr only half commits. Bloode gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Benn Jr jabs Bloode right on the nose. Bloode blinks but takes it well.
Bloode is rocked! Bloode gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Benn Jr gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Bloode is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nigel Benn Jr! An out of breath Nigel Benn Jr thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
