Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Cuervo Oquendo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roberto Jimenez!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jimenez ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
And Jimenez tries to counter it with a takedown but Oquendo pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Jimenez shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jimenez on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Oquendo connects with a solid leg kick.
Jimenez throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jimenez misses with a straight right.
Oquendo looks to land a left hand but Jimenez moved out of range nicely.
Oquendo scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Oquendo lands a jab to the nose.

Jimenez is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Oquendo has been working on his boxing with his coaches at ubergym in the buildup to the fight.

Oquendo throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Oquendo swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Jimenez.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jimenez jabs at Oquendo's body.
Oquendo throws a lazy uppercut
and Jimenez counters with a nice body shot.
Oquendo wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
The crowd cheers as Oquendo lands an impressive looking overhand right. Jimenez doesn't seem phased though.
Jimenez is rocked!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Oquendo engages and cracks Jimenez with a massive lead left hook - Jimenez tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Oquendo is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Cuervo Oquendo!
