Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Peter Pinfish (ranked 24435 p4p, 23714 weight class) and Makari Vinogradov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Pinfish! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Makari Vinogradov! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pinfish scores with a nice strike. Vinogradov blocks a head kick by Pinfish.
Vinogradov checks the leg kick nicely there.
Pinfish moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Vinogradov keeps the fight on the outside. Pinfish is looking to slow Vinogradov down with leg kicks. Pinfish tries to grapple but his opponent circles so Vinogradov counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Vinogradov is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pinfish isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Vinogradov stacks Pinfish on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Vinogradov! Vinogradov controls the position. Vinogradov has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Pinfish connects with an inside leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vinogradov blocks a head kick by Pinfish.
Vinogradov lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Pinfish throws a quick inside leg kick. Vinogradov doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Pinfish misses with a double jab
so Vinogradov counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Vinogradov is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vinogradov slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Pinfish trying to remain calm as Vinogradov controls from the top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Pinfish is positioning himself to get back to half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Peter Pinfish will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Vinogradov takes a shot right to the bread basket. Pinfish lands with a kick to the temple. Vinogradov shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Pinfish throws a nice looking combination but Vinogradov bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Pinfish misses with a double jab.
Vinogradov is looking for the big counter here. Nice cross by Pinfish. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pinfish looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Pinfish throws an overhand right that lands on Vinogradov's shoulder, as Vinogradov tries to avoid the shot. Vinogradov is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Pinfish swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pinfish throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Vinogradov looks like he wants to counter punch here. Pinfish throws a wild body kick that Vinogradov sees coming a mile off. Vinogradov is clearly looking to counter with head kicks. Vinogradov is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. A punch combination from Pinfish misses. Peter Pinfish is winning the standup battle so far. Pinfish connects with a high kick. A big left from Pinfish misses. An inside leg kick from Pinfish misses. Pinfish looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Sloppy strikes from Pinfish. Those never looked like landing. Vinogradov is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. A head kick from Pinfish lands but Vinogradov takes it in his stride. Vinogradov keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pinfish throws a poor cross that misses
and Vinogradov counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Vinogradov. Pinfish wants to get back to his feet but Vinogradov passes into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Vinogradov slows the pace down in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Makari Vinogradov has got the better of the ground game so far. Let's hope that Vinogradov has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Pinfish looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Peter Pinfish is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Pinfish throws a right and a left that Vinogradov avoids nicely. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Peter Pinfish dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round! A low kick from Pinfish is predictable there and Vinogradov counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Pinfish! Vinogradov moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Vinogradov prevents Pinfish from escaping the position. Vinogradov just content to control the position. Vinogradov decides to stand back up. Vinogradov steps back and let's Pinfish get back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pinfish throws a right and a left that both miss. Vinogradov feints a counter leg kick. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Vinogradov checks a leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pinfish throws a combination. Vinogradov tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Vinogradov takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Pinfish throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Vinogradov takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Vinogradov takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Vinogradov circles away from the clinch attempt.
Pinfish misses with a double jab
and Vinogradov counters by clinching up. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vinogradov jumps guard and drags Pinfish to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Vinogradov bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Pinfish's guard. Vinogradov sitting in guard, not really doing much. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vinogradov's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Vinogradov slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vinogradov controls the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Pinfish struggling a bit here. Makari Vinogradov has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Peter Pinfish is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Vinogradov is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Pinfish looks calm but he's in trouble here. Vinogradov gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Pinfish is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Vinogradov lets go of the hold and Pinfish can pop his arm back in it's socket.
