Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Stephen Rowley!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hands throws out a loose jab but Rowley uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hands scores with a leg kick.
Hands misses with a leg kick
and Hands takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Rowley fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hands takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Rowley looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Hands connects with a right hand. Rowley shakes it off.
Rowley slips a jab from Hands.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Hands.
Nice straight punches there by Hands. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Hands.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Rowley bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Hands's head.

and Rowley counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Rowley.
Hands tries to throw a body punch but Rowley avoids it by throwing Hands back against the cage.

Rowley jumps guard and drags Hands to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

The crowd cheers as Rowley lands an impressive looking overhand right. Hands doesn't seem phased though.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rowley lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Hands backwards.
Rowley jumps guard but Hands stands there with Rowley around his waist. Rowley gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Rowley digs a right hand underneath Hands's ribcage. Hands let out a lung full of air as it connected.

A frustrated look appears on Hands's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Hands can't find room to land a body shot as Rowley controls the action.

Hands got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rowley has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hands has managed to get both his arms back between Rowley's legs - danger averted.
Hands has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
